Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase, activation, use, and renewal of IdentitySuite licenses, sold by Stefano Pinato, VAT number IT04100020926. By requesting or using a license, you agree to these terms.

IdentitySuite is a software product distributed under a commercial license. It is not a hosted service; you install and operate the software within your own infrastructure.

2. License Model

IdentitySuite is sold as an annual subscription license. A subscription grants access to all features included in the selected plan for a period of 12 months from the activation date.

When the subscription expires, IdentitySuite automatically switches to FREE mode, which allows:

  • 3 concurrent online clients
  • 100 concurrent online users

The software remains fully functional within these limits, including in production environments and commercial products.

Limits shown apply to IdentitySuite 3.1 and later. Earlier versions enforce the limits in effect at their release — update the package to benefit from the current limits.

3. License Scope

A paid license is valid for one production installation. The FREE version may be used in multiple projects without restrictions, including staging and development environments for a paid installation — simply run those without activating a license.

You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software.

4. Plan Differences

All plans include the same software and features. Plans differ only in:

  • Usage limits (number of clients and users)
  • Support level included in the subscription

5. Purchase Process

Licenses can be purchased directly from the pricing page using the PayPal payment button. Once the payment is successfully completed, the license key is generated and delivered to the customer by email immediately — no waiting required. If anything goes wrong with the automatic delivery, we follow up by email. PayPal also supports payments made with major credit and debit cards, even without a PayPal account.

6. License Duration and Renewal

Licenses purchased through the website are valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of issuance. Licenses do not renew automatically. If you require a license for a shorter or longer period, you may request a custom duration by contacting us through the contact form.

7. Upgrade Policy

You may upgrade to a higher plan at any time. The upgrade cost is calculated using a simple daily pro-rata: you pay only the price difference between your current plan and the higher plan, for the days remaining in your current subscription year.

Downgrades are not permitted.

8. Renewal

At the end of the subscription period, you may renew your license by purchasing a new annual subscription. If you choose not to renew, the software continues to operate in FREE mode.

9. Refund Policy

You may request a 100% refund within 14 days from the date the payment is received. No justification is required.

Refunds are not available after this period. If a refund is issued, the associated license will be immediately deactivated.

10. Updates and Maintenance

During the subscription period, you receive:

  • All updates and improvements released for your licensed version
  • Security patches
  • Bug fixes

All versions released during your active subscription — including major version upgrades — are included at no additional cost. There is no separate upgrade fee.

11. Continuity

Should IdentitySuite be permanently discontinued, all licenses active at the time of discontinuation will be converted into perpetual licenses for the licensed tier, at no additional cost. For Enterprise licensees, a source code escrow arrangement is available on request.

12. Support

Support availability depends on your selected plan. Higher-tier plans include priority support and extended assistance. Support is provided via email unless otherwise specified.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Circumvent license restrictions
  • Use the software for unlawful purposes
  • Share license keys or access credentials with third parties

Violations may result in license suspension.

14. Liability

IdentitySuite is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Your use of the software is at your own responsibility.

15. Privacy

IdentitySuite does not collect or transmit personal data unless explicitly configured by the user. Any data processed by the software remains under your control and within your infrastructure.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. Changes will be published on this page and become effective immediately.
